UK Police forces face mounting costs to successfully handle drink drivers digitally

STL Technologies expressed concern about the increased costs UK police forces face following the introduction by the CPS that from April 2012, all forces must provide case files electronically. With the new pressure on police resources to prepare digital case files, forces may face an increase in drink driving offences with the combination of Easter Bank Holidays followed by a 2012 Holiday Season that includes Olympic and Diamond Jubilee Celebrations in addition to the usual Festivals.
