IT support Take-On Process

Our structured Take On Process for Service Management help us provide ITIL accredited IT support , whatever the current state of your systems. The process consists of two stages:

  • Assessment of your current systems
  • Transition of responsibility to STL Technologies

We begin with an audit of the current state of your deployed software, system configuration and support state. This includes system architecture, performance, existing administration processes and security. We’ll also analyse call patterns, known defects, constraints.

We’ll assess the future state of your systems and provide forecasts for future load growth, software upgrades and end of life issues. We can also review your current Infrastructure, database and application architecture, backup and recovery processes and provide a review of your risks.

We'll then agree the schedule for transition of responsibility to STL so that you have the Service Management functions you need. This includes:

  • Contacts and SLAs;
  • Documentation for Application Server and Database Administration configuration;
  • Remedial work;
  • Installation of monitoring agents.
